Story
Craftsmen Printing celebrated
twenty-five years of business success in December, 2006.
But the seminal origin of the company goes back to August
3,1952. On that day, our company founder received the
requested gift of a small table top printing press for
his birthday. The rest, as they say, is history...
...and
what a history it has been. It is one rich in stories
of satisfied clients, many of whom have become ‘life-long’
customers as well as personal friends to various Craftsmen
team members. Folks who have, in turn, recommended us
to their friends and business contacts, and we are always
most grateful for these introductions. The thing is,
we are just plain easy to do business with – and
we believe this is true from the front door to the back
door. All of us here are hard-wired to do whatever it
takes to insure our client/friends good will and their
approval of our efforts.
It
has been a story of many industry awards presented in
juried competition with our worthy peers: Best of Show,
best four-color process; the list is long and speaks
of name brand clients and projects that are meaningful
to their progress and our own. This welcomed recognition
of our efforts has been most rewarding to each of us.
Mostly,
though, it’s been a story of our people; mentally
bright, talented, experienced, insightful, fair, both
hard- and smart-working multi taskers, skilled, and
all of this combined with personal integrity. Beyond
those considerable attributes, however, lies our ‘secret’
ingredient: to a person, all of us genuinely love what
we do. We treat every assignment as though it was the
single effort by which our discriminating publics would
judge all else that we do. Pound for pound, you will
not find a more pleasant team of folks to provide for
your print and related graphics needs. Nor one who more
closely guards your interests.
While
our past has been a remarkable one, if we say so ourselves,
our focus is on the future. Not forgetting the past
and the ‘personal touch’ that has brought
us to today, we diligently try to look ahead: ever changing
technology, emerging skill sets needed to adequately
manage this new methodology, new products and services
to complement our client’s changing needs and
an even more streamlined method of delivering the maximum
value of our efforts.
We
look forward to the next twenty five years and the rich
rewards they will offer to both our clients and to ourselves.
